Scams in work from home cases

Everyone receives thousands of mails claiming that one can earn thousands of dollars by working for just a few hours from home. But does that sound realistic at all?

1.      Promoters for stuffing envelopes, assembly of home products promising you advertising opportunities for a token fee in advance are scam cases. They publicize to post similar ads so that others can also send them more money as you did.

2.      The work might not involve any security and the company would just supply training to you along with material and then, you are on your own to find customers.

3.      Working from home is no different than working from office or on site. You still need to invest hard work and commitment.

4.      Check the website of the company and also, collect all the information about their products.

5.      Try and read the founders’ resumes. If most of the executive staff ‘s background is from network marketing, then the case is again a bogus one.

6.      Find out about the legal requirements in the job.

7.      Prefer shopping for items which can be returned in some warranty period.

8.      Check the plans aimed at recruiting members to the organization since these plans are not dependent on sales to end consumers.

9.      Career services are free and sites charging money for the same are fraud ones.

10.  Postal jobs do not require payment.
