Electricians Jobs
The need for electricians is so immense due to lack of qualified individuals that websites and head hunting personnel firms dedicated solely to full vacancies at large electrical contractors and government agencies exist.
The flow of information at the speed of light has seen the launch of exclusive programs and courses to create an industry-approved version of an electrician's resume. All electrical firms readily accept such resumes.
The shortage of supply of electricians in market has ensured a very high starting salary for apprentices right out of school. The shortfall in the supply and demand is accountable to the change in inclination of students working with electricity towards computers and other electronics fields instead of traditional form of electrical contracting. This has led to better wages and perks and active recruitment of individuals in this field.
The cable industry has been the largest bread provider to electricians for the last few years and their army of electricians has hit the roads and housing blocks for almost three decades.
Not only did they attend to their regular job of wiring up new houses for service and repairing but have also, honed their skills whenever technology changed. They were ready with the latest tools and information to cater to their customers but the present scene highlights cases of jobs going empty.
The same can be attributed to the lack of qualified technicians as proved by the fact that even during the 80’s, when commercial construction industry was at its peak, the supply always matched the demand.
The same army had been on their toes for the last twenty years and any apprentice from school who has learnt the electrician trade would be with job even before he/she could have imagined.
